You could tell by the way he tied, and re-tied his bowtie over and over while watching a Youtube tutorial.
You could tell by the look on his face when he saw her for the first time all dressed up that day.
You could tell by the way he swooped her up and carried her across a patch of snow.
You could tell by the way he wrapped his arms around her, trying to keep her warm in between the photos I shot.
You could tell by the way he kissed her while the Pastor signed their marriage certificate (one of my favorite shots of the day).
He adores her.
And who could blame him? Grace truly lived up to her name on her wedding day. It was one of the most lovely and heartfelt events I have had the honor of attending and I feel so blessed to have gotten a glimpse behind the scenes of such a true romance.
From wearing her mother’s dress, to taking their wedding photos in her grandparent’s backyard; saying their vows in the same church her parents did to even reenacting one of her parent’s wedding photos on the same church steps, Grace and Josh combined Family, Nostalgia, and Vintage Elegance to create a truly timeless experience.
They opted to have a “first look” moment before the ceremony and the expressions on their faces are priceless. This moment and many others could not have been captured without my amazing second shooter for the day, Kelsey Clark (Apples and Honey Photography).
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Burrows!
