In the Fall of 2011, my Husband and I spent a couple weeks vacationing in Italy. We woke up on the morning of September 20th (our third wedding anniversary), in Rome, and took a pregnancy test that was positive! 8 months later our son Roman Kent was born, and on Monday he turned three.

This was the first year we decided to have a party for his birthday. It was a lot of work, but we had so much fun. I planned a toga party around the theme “Rome is Getting Ancient” and I LOVE how it turned out. We had a pony, Roman numeral pinata, Italian food, braids and temporary tattoos. Our family and friends were the best! Not only did they help me set up before hand, but they totally got on board with the theme and everyone dressed up.

Roman had the best time and he is still talking about his party. Thank you so much to everyone who came and spoiled our baby. Happy Birthday Roman!
