I can’t believe my beautiful little niece is already 6 months old! She joined me in my new studio last weekend (along with her Mommy and Daddy) for this sweet session. Happy Half Birthday baby girl!
I have been looking forward to shooting Ryan and Adrienne’s big day ever since they booked with me last year. When they told me they would be having a destination wedding on Ft. Myers Beach in Florida, I knew the trip would probably end up being more fun than work, and I was right. On top of that my sweet friend and fellow photog Sarah Hill (www.sarah-bethphoto.com) agreed to shoot their wedding with me. We lucked out with a couple who was not only gorgeous, but two of the most relaxed and fun people you’ll ever meet. Despite some scary weather reports, their beautiful beachside nuptials turned out just perfect with the most stunning sunset.

I’m not going to lie, when Jimmy and Cate decided to book their engagement session for the middle of January, I was nervous. I knew it would either be freezing, or REALLY freezing and definitely cloudy and gray. So when the day arrived and we had warmth, sun, and even a little bit of snow left on the ground I was over the moon excited. Now I’m just crossing my fingers and hoping we can get this lucky again for their wedding day later this year.
I love that they chose to incorrporate Jimmy’s son into their session too. Enjoy this magical combination of sun & snow, Jimmy & Cate (and Kason). Congrats lovebirds!
Ryan and Adrienne’s Engagement session was my first shoot after my maternity leave this Fall, and I could not have asked for a better welcome back to work. Not only are they gorgeous, funny, and clearly in love, but they quickly made the jump from “clients” to “friends” when they asked me to shoot their destination wedding on the beach in Florida this January. Anyone who can get me a break from this Indiana Winter is a friend of mine! They also made the jump from “friends” to “my new besties” whenever they suggested that we go out for breadsticks and margaritas after their shoot.
Um. Yes please.

I am so excited to FINALLY have my own studio in downtown Indianapolis. I’ve never blogged one of my boudoir shoots and rarely show images from these sessions, but I wanted to share a sample of my work and show off my new space.
