After meeting Tim and Lisa at their engagement session last year, I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding.

Lisa brought the cutest little chalkboard signs and Tim brought the other love of his life, his tractor. But the best part of their shoot wasn’t the adorable props (or the perfect lighting that we had), it was the true happiness and love that you could feel between the two of them. They laughed and smiled and hugged and kissed for an hour. It was one of those effortless shoots where the couple hardly needs posing because they just naturally hold hands and want to be all snuggled up next to each other.

They are genuinely the nicest people and they’re lucky enough to be surrounded by friends and family who are just as sweet (plus a few crazy groomsmen). Watching them love each other makes me fall in love with what I do all over again. Thank you so much Tim and Lisa for inviting me to be a part of your beautiful day. Congrats lovebirds.

My husband and I know that our meeting was one of those things that was “meant to be”. I was from Florida. He was from Indiana. And somehow we randomly ended up in Michigan at the same time. German and Lora share the same connection. He is from Colorado, she is from Florida and yet they both met thousands of miles away in Hawaii. You could tell that they too are one of those things that are just “meant to be”.

They made the long trip from Hawaii back to central Florida to tie the knot last month. From her stunning Vera Wang gown and the outdoor chandeliers, to his cowboy boots, the boiled peanut station, and some killer barbeque, their wedding was a beautiful combination of sophistication and down home comfort. Congratulations German and Lora! You have not seen the last of me. I have seen your instagram pictures in Hawaii and a destination shoot is calling my name!
